The attendees gathered to discuss the latest industry trends and developments across various dimensions, including economics, trade, and technology. Summit provided a platform for exploring the future directions and innovative pathways of the industry from an international perspective, with a focus on the unique industry landscapes across Asia.

During the summit, opening remarks were delivered by Sven Bossu, President of AIPC; Jin Qiao, General Manager of Shenzhen World ; and Panittha Buri, AIPC Board Member and CEO of the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre. Several distinguished guests also took the stage to present a series of engaging and thought-provoking keynote speeches.

The summit focused on current global economic development and new trends in the global meetings and events industry. It addressed key topics of interest to the industry, including the importance of the meetings and events industry to China's economy, strategies for creating and attracting high-end international meetings and events, business expansion strategies, technology empowerment of the meetings and events industry, sustainable development, and the adaptation of convention centers to meet evolving needs. Their contributions hold significant guiding importance for global industry trend analysis, business expansion, the creation and attraction of high-end international meetings and events, the application of information technology in the industry, and sustainable development.

It was the first time an AIPC international summit was held in China, with many well-known domestic and international convention centers participating. Guangzhou Yuexiu International Congress Center, a Sino-foreign joint venture-operated venue, was invited to attend. During the event, General Manager Mr. Fan and Business Director Mr. Lin actively shared and exchanged ideas with peers, engaging in in-depth discussions on diverse topics such as green and low-carbon development, sustainable growth, and the introduction of international meetings, all from an international perspective.

Since its opening, Guangzhou Yuexiu International Congress Center has provided meeting support for several high-profile international conferences, including the "Understanding China Conference(Guangzhou)” and the Global Mayors’ Forum. Through in-depth exchanges at this summit, the congress center will further bridge the gap with global meetings and events standards. This not only lays a solid foundation for the introduction and planning of international projects at congress center but also effectively promotes our international brand, empowering our internationalization process and providing strong support for hosting more large-scale international conferences in the future. In the future, Guangzhou Yuexiu International Congress Center will keep pace with industry trends, collaborate with GL Events and global partners, and strive to become a world-class venue. We aim to build a bridge for communication between Guangzhou and the world and create a more outstanding and efficient platform for international exchanges.
